Pre-Print Insertion
Commercial Services (170 Employees)
In 1995, Goodwill entered into a contract with The Miami Herald to receive and insert pre-printed advertising materials, such as the comics, Parade magazine, T.V. book and all advertisements - an incredible 1.5 million packages -into five different insert packages of The Miami Herald each week. Teaming with companies in the community is what our Pre-Print Inserting Division is all about.
This division provides opportunities for program participants who can benefit from activities requiring repetitive movement and where critical judgment is not required. It is ideally suited for persons who have good physical stamina and who need a job that keeps them active constantly due to hyperactivity. Opportunities also exist for part-time work for disabled persons who have children so they can earn and supplement family income, while choosing to work in shifts that are convenient for child care issues. This division significantly expanded the capacity of Goodwill to provide services to additional persons and individuals with different needs.
