Source: Miami Herald
Date: December 23, 2009

Top US Military Officer Visits Goodwill

Date: December 23, 2009
The United State's Director of the Defense Logistics Agency , Lieutenant General Robert T. Dail, toured Goodwill Industries of South Florida' s military apparel manufacturing headquarters late Wednesday for the highest level military visit to Goodwill. General Dail met with Dennis Pastrana, President and CEO of Goodwill, to discuss Goodwill's sewn products capacity and capability. Congressman Kendrick Meek was instrumental in the scheduling of this visit. The Congressman's membership on the U.S. House of Representatives Committee of Armed Services and his commitment for apparel job stability at Goodwill have proven vital. General Dail was in the Miami area for the last several days on other military business and used this opportunity to visit Goodwill, one of Department of Defense's top apparel manufacturers.
