Bring Good Home

Good Finds. Great Impact.

When you put an awesome find in your Goodwill South Florida cart, you’re not just thrifting – you’re being a local hero! You are bringing so much GOOD to people with disabilities and other barriers to work. This month Bring Good Home and give people in South Florida a reason to celebrate.

How does it work?

Last year, Goodwill South Florida served more than 6,400 people with disabilities and other barriers to work, helping them with job training, employment, and job placement. Through our human services programs, we help those we serve increase their productivity and achieve greater independence. We create hope, opportunity, and a bright future for people with disabilities. Together with our donors and shoppers, and through our other entrepreneurial businesses (Apparel Manufacturing, Laundry Services, and Custodial Services) which employ many of those we serve, Goodwill South Florida is able to fund our critical human services programs. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on our donors and supporters to help us help the people in our community. As one of the most cost-effective organizations, Goodwill South Florida has a history of reinvesting 95% of its funding directly back into its programs that support our mission of training, employment and job placement for people with disabilities. Here’s how that happens:

  • People donate clothing, household items, and more to our Goodwill stores.
  • Goodwill sells the donated items, providing the critical revenue that helps fuel our nonprofit mission.
  • People who buy unique finds from Goodwill stores and online at use their items with pride.
  • Shopping at Goodwill gives our South Florida community a reason to celebrate because purchases support Goodwill’s nonprofit mission.
  • People with disabilities and other barriers to work build their skills and find employment, with help from Goodwill South Florida.
